100th Day of School

Better late than never!!  

Here are some pictures from our 100th Day of School fun!  We made crazy hats with 100 things on them, make a snack with 100 items, and had a whole bunch of fun on our 100th Day of School.

New IPad Apps

The kiddos are definitely LOVING our new iPad apps.  There are reading, math, phonics, word building, and game apps in the bundle we asked the district to purchase for the Early Childhood iPad cart.   Several of the games even let the students build cities based on their progression of levels in the specific skill games.

Bug Lady

Today the kiddos got to explore the world of bugs and other AWESOME creatures in a very hands on way.  A big thanks to PTA for inviting the "Bug Lady" to our school.

Identity and Write Numbers to 100

This week we played an awesome little game called "Slap It."  Each of kiddos were given a stack of sticky notes.  I would call out a number and they would write the number on their sticky note.  When I said...."Slap It," they would all slap their sticky notes down on the middle of the table.  Then we would check to make sure we all wrote the number correctly. 

The super cool part was.....we were working on numbers up to 100.
